Love the staff!! I volunteered here for years and the Blythewood Library is definitely a family. They develop great relationships with regular patrons and are always excited to help with anything someone needs. It's a small library, but offers a wide range of resources and a great selection of programs. The newly renovated space looks great so far and will definitely allow the library to do even more for the community. If you ever need anything, be sure to stop by. If they don't have the answer, they can point you in the right direction or help you find the answer themselves.
The place and people are excellent but the one short lady has a attitude at times the fax machine is really out dated and i use it regular so you have to trouble shoot it unplug ect so I looked to see if paper was in there and she holla out sir what are you doing like I broke it or something but remind you me and the head lady found that to be the problem before , know you got to show I'd just to use the computer which is ridiculous the tax payers paying for that new buildings but they do everything when African American start using resources to keep us do then some look and talk to you like the own the library(African Americans they act like we dumb
Great place for reading. Not too big, not too small. Comfortable chairs & sofas. A play area for my grandkids ... winner, winner chicken dinner!
Not a huge selection like the one downtown, but I reserve and pick up here, saves me the trip, plus the ladies here are awesome, especially Lori and Fiona! So excited about the remodeling project!
